About The Role

We are looking to add a Director of Business Development to our Growth team (reporting to our Head of Sales). This individual is a seasoned and strategic sales executive, excited to be at the heart of the Growth engine for the organization. This is a strategic new logo sales opportunity, building relationships with C-level leaders within supply chain and operations to position Zero100’s research and community as critical in helping them navigate a once in a generation opportunity for the industry - to accelerate progress on the digitization of operations to drive business resilience, growth and decarbonization.


As our Director of Business Development, you will be the architect and champion of our growth strategy within your defined territory, while mentoring other team members and helping refine our broader GTM approach. You will spearhead the identification and pursuit of top prospects with our must win accounts and forge strategic relationships, ultimately managing the whole sales process from the beginning to the end. This includes identifying prospects, qualifying new leads, creating an outbound direct sales strategy to generate your pipeline and nurture prospects through the sales process to close. You will be given ownership for a specific territory, targeting prospective clients with business revenue of $10b+.


This role provides the opportunity to individually sell at the C-level leveraging our defined playbook, while also thinking strategically about new innovative approaches that allow us to penetrate our target market. We are looking for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the B2B research landscape and a proven track record of securing high-value contracts in complex, competitive environments at a senior level.


You Are Likely To Succeed, If:

  • You have at least 8+ years of experience in Enterprise SaaS, subscription, or research sales
  • You have a track record of not only meeting but exceeding sales goals
  • You have experience selling six figure deals into large enterprises at the C-level, negotiating contracts with sophisticated procurement teams
  • You have experience selling a new product or service
  • You are a team player and are motivated by the company’s success, not just your own
  • With a high EQ, you are attuned to clients’ needs and quickly develop warm client relationships with an ability to both challenge their thinking and create an emotional connection in your sales process
  • You are resourceful, resilient, and have strong oral and written communication
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited to help build a business with a solutions mindset
  • You love solving ambiguous problems and are willing to persevere through the highs and lows of creating something new
  • You approach your work with a roll up your sleeves mentality and a willingness to flex as the business requires


Location: London, UK (Hybrid) or United States (Remote). The role requires ability to travel internationally.
