We have an opening for a remote Business Development Analyst
The Business Development Analyst will be responsible for assisting on key aspects of Axia’s business development and add-on acquisition strategy. This role will be directly involved in transaction diligence and execution, financial modeling, and project coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of add-on targets through idea generation, industry research, personal networking and networks of company contacts, proactive outreach, and screening of inbound leads
“Own” deal-related analysis and act as a subject matter expert on financial modeling
Due diligence and deal structuring / negotiations for add-on physician groups, including working with legal counsel and other third parties and interacting with private equity sponsor as required.
Collect and analyze data; build out financial models to review and present to internal teams ie HR, Marketing, IT, ect.
As a member of the M&A team, work with others on the team, including the Vice President to continually improve M&A processes at Axia Women’s Health
Assist with the management of organic business development initiatives and other strategic projects
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organizational initiatives
Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful completion of goals and objective. Develop and maintain proposal schedules, ensuring deadlines are met
Gather and organize information from various stakeholders to include in proposals
Maintain integrity at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
2 – 3 years of work experience, ideally in finance, Private Equity / Corporate M&A deal experience or physician practice management (PPM).
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Advanced financial modeling
Strong written and oral presentation skills
Ability to present concisely and with detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to co-workers and targets with low familiarity of the M&A process
Project management skills
Ability to work in an autonomous, fast-moving environment
Healthcare and physician management experience preferred (but not required)
