Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our Board of Advisors in a pro bono capacity. This role involves guiding our strategic initiatives, enhancing community outreach, and supporting fundraising efforts to drive our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Guidance:
Provide insights and advice on strategic planning and organizational growth.
Assist in shaping policies that align with our mission and objectives.
Fundraising and Development:
Support fundraising initiatives by leveraging personal and professional networks.
Contribute to developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
Community Engagement:
Advocate for Legacy Hall within the community and help build partnerships.
Promote STEAM education and engage with local stakeholders.
Governance:
Attend quarterly board meetings and contribute to discussions and decision-making processes.
Ensure organizational compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Strong background in education, nonprofit management, or a related field.
Experience in fundraising, community outreach, or strategic planning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for supporting education and community development.
Commitment
This is a volunteer position with an expected commitment of approximately 5-10 hours per month, including attendance at quarterly board meetings.
