Beverage Cart Attendant - Bobby Jones Golf Course

Bobby Jones Golf Course, located in Atlanta, Georgia, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Beverage Cart Attendants. The historic Bobby Jones Golf Course became the home of golf in Georgia after a $32 million rebirth managed by Bobby Jones Links in 2018. It includes a revolutionary reversible golf course designed by Bob Cupp. It is home to the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, The Georgia State Golf Association, The Georgia PGA Section, the Yates Himalayas Putting Course, Boone’s upscale eatery, and instructional programs focused on juniors, beginners, and adaptive golf.

Responsibilities of the Beverage Cart Attendant at Bobby Jones Golf Course include:

• Ensuring the beverage cart’s presentation and appearance is always clean, pleasing to the eye, and impeccable in its presentation.
• Ensuring all members and guests receive the highest level of service.
• Completing a daily inventory log.
• Cash handling and the accuracy of receipts at day’s end.
• Completing the day end close out report through the point of sales.
• Cleanliness of the beverage cart at days’ end.
• Following and implementing the management directives, programs, and policies.
• Incorporating safe work practices and safe food handling standards.
  
  

Required Skills

• The ability to sell (and up-sell) food and beverage to guests by being cordial, helpful, and sincere.
• The ability to provide exemplary member and customer service.
• A thorough working knowledge of the club’s food and beverage operation.

• Walk, sit, stand for long periods of time, bend, use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

• Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
