The Hilton Garden Inn Manhattan, KS, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Banquet Manager to oversee the banquet operations within our thriving hospitality establishment. As a key member of the Food and Beverage team, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Food and Beverage Director to ensure exceptional service and memorable experiences for our guests during banquets and events.
Responsibilities:
Banquet Operations Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of all banquet events, ensuring seamless and high-quality service.
Work closely with the Food and Beverage Director to develop banquet menus, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives.
Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction by monitoring service levels and addressing any issues promptly.
Team Leadership:
Lead, motivate, and train banquet staff to deliver outstanding service and uphold Hilton's standards of excellence.
Create a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering teamwork and a customer-centric approach.
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, provide training, and address any concerns.
Financial Management:
Assist in budget development and financial forecasting for the banquet department.
Monitor and control banquet expenses to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
Event Coordination:
Collaborate with event planners, clients, and other departments to ensure all details of banquet events are well-coordinated.
Conduct pre-event meetings with clients to understand their specific needs and expectations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager, preferably with a focus on banquets.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
In-depth knowledge of food and beverage industry trends, best practices, and regulations.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
