Baker Expo (Downtown Location)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Charlotte's Coffee House seeks an energetic and detail-oriented Baker Expo to manage our baking station and expedite bakery orders. The Baker Expo will ensure the seamless preparation and presentation of our bakery products, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role is pivotal in coordinating between the kitchen staff and the front of the house to ensure that all bakery items are beautifully crafted and delivered on time to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the flow of bakery items from the kitchen to the front of the house, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of bakery goods, maintaining high-quality standards
• Manage the bakery display, ensuring all items are stocked and attractively presented
• Assist bakers in preparing and baking dough, pastries, and other bakery items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking station and storage areas
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to prevent and resolve any issues with orders
• Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to the purchasing department
  
  

Skills:

• Proven experience in a bakery, kitchen expediter, or similar role is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Keen attention to detail, especially in the presentation and quality of baked goods.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, kitchen hygiene, and safety standards
