Job Summary
We are looking for a knowledgeable, meticulous audio-visual technician to join our team. The audio-visual technician is responsible for the setup, operation of audio-visual equipment and technology for all conference rooms. The audio-visual teach role requires excellent customer service skills, an understanding of audio-visual systems, and the ability to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties as assigned.
Set up and install audio-visual equipment.
Complete wiring of HDMI, Network Cables, and basic construction
Conduct daily quality control analysis of all conference rooms.
Supporting end users with technical needs in utilizing conference rooms
Being a technical trainer for conference technology
Primary liaison with third-party audio-visual vendor(s)
In-room documentation / support material creation and upkeep
Recommending audio-visual solution improvements and vetting new hardware/software offerings
Key meeting in-room support (e.g., board meetings, companywide presentations)
Respond to internal and external requests in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Existing conference room and audio-visual technology experience.
Experience in multi-solution in-room, wireless, and BYOD meeting support preferred.
Working with various computer technology. MAC and PC Operating System.
Comfortable supporting executive level staff in key meeting situations.
Excellent training skills, both in person and in producing audio-visual support documentation.
