What You’ll Do
Meet with clients, communicate with adversaries, negotiate and draft various types of business contracts
Provide partners with support for their matters, operating in a team environment
Review and negotiate various types of business agreements, commercial real estate leases and financing documents and conduct closings
Spend time marketing and networking to obtain your own new clients
What You Bring
Education: Juris Doctor Degree plus admission to NY state bar
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in Corporate and Commercial Real Estate matters. Experience with employment law and commercial litigation is a plus
Excellent writing, organizational, analytical and negotiation skills, plus outstanding client communication and management skills
Eager to be involved in business development with an entrepreneurial spirit
Portable business and a business background are preferred
Ability to ask pertinent questions, actively listen to answers and synthesize information to formulate advice based on sound judgment and strong knowledge of the law and legal precedence
