Senior Consultant – Legal & Contracting - Europe & NA
Job Responsibilities
Support M&A and commercial transactions across wind, solar and energy storage projects.
Draft, negotiate, and manage various commercial agreements including purchase and sale agreements, power purchase agreements, and energy storage agreements.
Anticipate and mitigate legal risks
Ensure budget compliance and minimize the need for outside counsel
Disclose significant legal issues to senior leadership
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar license with at least 3 years’ experience negotiating and advising on acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures in the energy industry
Experience in project finance and tax equity
Strong transactional experience
