Job Overview/Summary

We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team in NYC, NY. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent veterinary care to our patients and building strong relationships with clients. All experience levels are considered, and candidates must be licensed in the state of New York.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and advanced medical and surgical procedures on small animals.

Conduct thorough examinations and develop treatment plans for patients.

Communicate effectively with clients to educate them on pet health and wellness.

Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Participate in continuing education to stay abreast of latest developments in veterinary medicine.

Primary Skills

Proficiency in diagnosing and treating medical conditions in small animals.

Strong surgical skills, including routine procedures and soft tissue surgeries.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Secondary Skills (Good To Have)

Experience with digital radiography and ultrasound.

Knowledge of preventive care and wellness programs for pets.

Qualifications

NY State Veterinary License, valid and in good standing.

All experience levels considered.

Ability to work a rotational weekend schedule is preferred.
