About The Role

We're looking for an associate product manager to 1) manage mobile app releases and 2) drive a roadmap for mobile web modernization.

Your first focus will be delivering end-to-end improvements for how we ship mobile app releases — ensuring releases are delivered on time, every time, with minimal effort, and with high product quality. Next, you'll develop and execute on a roadmap for mobile web modernization as a vehicle for increasing sign ups — we've just launched a brand new mobile app and need a strategy for bringing a similar user experience to mobile web. In this role, you'll think strategically while getting detailed with our team on plans for exactly what features gets shipped and how they work.

Responsibilities

  • Manage mobile app releases to ensure they're delivered on time, every time, with minimal effort, and with high product quality
  • Drive CellarTracker's mobile web modernization product strategy, goal setting, and roadmap
  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver product features that address customer needs and align with the company's goals
  • Translate large volumes of customer feedback into actionable plans for development
  • Develop a data-driven way of assessing product quality with each release
  • Gather the evidence you need to make analytical, informed decisions by talking to/surveying customers, reviewing product usage data, and researching comps
  • Carry the voice of customer in every conversation, ensuring we build products that our customers love
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and analytics, to define requirements and launch awesome products
  • Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to create alignment, coordinate dependencies, and remove obstacles


Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in product management
  • 2+ years of experience in product-adjacent roles such as analytics, project management, design, or engineering
  • Experience with web or mobile consumer products (B2C) and subscription models
  • Passion for wine and knowledge of the wine industry, including wine production, regions, and varietals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting plans clearly to stakeholders like designers, engineers, marketers, executives, and more
  • Sufficient project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, define and prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Deep analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions and remove blockers
  • Excel/Google Sheets skills required. Experience with SQL/Mixpanel/Google Analytics for data analysis is a big plus
  • An instinct for creating intuitive customer experiences and familiarity with basic design principles
  • Ability to "think big" by envisioning initiatives that address both business and customer needs
  • Basic technical understanding of mobile and web technologies, including iOS, Android, and web development frameworks
  • Experience with software development lifecycle — including familiarity with agile methodologies and the app store submission processes
  • A curious, positive, and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a dynamic, open-ended environment
