Position Summary

Momentus Direct Capital is looking for a proactive, self-starter who can work independently within a small company environment. This position supports and markets the Wholesale SBA 504 1st mortgage loan program within the United States. The ideal candidate has a background in credit analysis but a desire to eventually grow into a business development role.

Requirements

• Assist Sr Advisor (commonly known in the marketplace as a Loan Officer) with follow-up to leads generated at lending conferences after initial contact by Sr Advisor.
• Assist Sr Advisor with LinkedIn marketing, promoting recent loan closings and other loan production activity.
• Assist Sr Advisor in marketing to new referral sources to increase overall capital deployment.
• Assist Sr Advisor in prequalification process (completing preliminary cash flow for Operating Company and affiliates, working on loan structure and overview of deal).
• Work with referral sources to obtain additional detail on deal summaries so that the credit team is better prepared to quickly underwrite files. Work with referral sources to fill any gaps from the initial set of information obtained through deal summary finalization.
• Provide coverage and be the point of contact for both referral sources and staff when Sr Advisor is at conferences or on vacation.
• Assist referral sources in understanding how to complete the Prequal Template and Cash Flow Analysis.
• Assist Sr Advisor in coordination of ordering third party reports (appraisal and environmental reports).
• Assist Sr Advisor in follow up of prospects in pipeline.
  
  

Professional Skills, Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, marketing, economics, finance, or urban studies from a recognized college or university or equivalent qualifying experience with the SBA 504 program or related field is strongly preferred.

Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in sales, marketing, and general underwriting principles as well as SBA Lending.

Possession of a valid Driver’s License.

Knowledge of commercial business and SBA 504 real estate loan structuring, underwriting fundamentals and sales and marketing techniques.

Ability to educate business owners, brokers, bankers, civic personnel, and related financial professionals on lending Wholesale SBA 504 1st mortgage loan programs.

Principles and practices of financial management.

Comfortable presenting economic development and financing information to the public.

Benefits

The base salary of this position is $72,648 - $90,811 and is eligible for an annual incentive.

This role is eligible to work remotely (Eastern Time Zone)
