Title: Associate Actuary

Location: Remote - United States


Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis and project expected loss ratios
  • Share findings with key stakeholders, as well as cross functional teams, including underwriting, claims & management
  • Suggest underwriting actions to boost profitability
  • Support the rate filing process
  • Help with quarterly loss reserve/claim reserve review
  • Run program performance monitoring and rate change on renewal calculations
  • Improve quarterly data collection & reporting processes


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, Risk Management or Accounting preferred
  • 2+ years experience in P&C insurance
  • 3+ actuarial exams
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Progress toward obtaining of ACAS or FCAS
