Washington Athletics has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Coach for Men's Soccer.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree and coaching experience with highly skilled players. Collegiate or professional playing experience preferred. USSF ‘A” coaching license preferred.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.

Washington Athletics has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Coach for Men's Soccer.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with coaching duties at daily practices. Assist with instruction and coaching of scout team in game plan preparations. Assist with the recruitment of athletes while on campus. Oversee day of game including working officials, gate list, pre-game meal, visiting team practice and field set up.
- Report scores to ICA Athletic Communications, local papers, TV and radio stations. Answer requests for information. Edit and review all video tapes of practice and matches with head coach.
- Coordinate and cooperate with Student-Athlete Academic Services to ensure eligibility and to encourage academic progress of each student in the program.
- Assist in the pre-season conditioning program.
- Help coordinate travel including meals, lodging, room and seating arrangements and transportation.
- Make initial contact with all schools about scheduling for following year and future years. Assist head coach with promotions work.
- Perform related duties as required.
