Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Asset Management Analyst for a long-term contract on W2. This role is Onsite in Reston, VA.

Must be in reasonable commutable distance and fully vaccinated.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4 years’ experience in technology asset management and internal customer support.
  • Demonstrated competency through training or application of Information Technology contract administration, purchasing, or procurement.
  • ServiceNow Development Knowledge with the ability to grow.
  • Digicert Certificate Management knowledge preferred.
  • Basic Linux skills preferred.
  • General knowledge of accounting, finance, marketing, and logistics.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Strong analytic and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with vendors, suppliers, and contractors who provide a broad spectrum of products and services.

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Supports all clients for software and hardware requests, including desktops, laptops, PC/MAC OS, servers, Productivity Office Suites, etc.
  • Support the major initiative of streamlining software asset management processes.
  • Certificate Management and implementation, with the ability to deploy certs.
  • Assists in special program-related issues as needed, with the flexibility to change focus as necessary.
  • Ensuring quality control throughout the lifecycle of all company Technology assets by developing and implementing appropriate procedures to track and manage them.
  • Maintaining databases and records of information such as licenses, service agreements, and warranties for the organization’s software and hardware.
  • Design processes relating to software and hardware asset management, and execute and enhance them.
  • Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware and software.
  • Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets and/or software licenses to make sure they comply with vendor contracts.
  • Generate and distribute various reports, including compliance reports on current assets and their status; also perform trend analyses.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to determine trends in asset performance.
  • Perform research on industry best practices and incorporate them with organizational practices.
  • Provide off-hours support as needed for moves and special projects.
