Ares Wealth Management Solutions (AWMS) oversees the product development, distribution, marketing, and client management activities of investment offerings for the global wealth management channel. Position Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the shareholder relations and transfer agency operating functions for Ares sponsored Alternative Investment Solutions distributed by Ares Wealth Management Solutions which includes non-traded REITs, non-traded BDCs, interval/tender offer funds and private funds across investment strategies including real estate, private credit and private equity. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to service shareholders and financial advisors representing approximately $12.9 billion of capital raised from institutional and individual investors.

Essential Job Duties

Client Services:

  • Provide high-quality shareholder servicing to our existing stockholder and financial advisor base including but not limited to answering inbound phone and written inquiries, researching, and resolving shareholder related matters and making outbound calls as needed
  • Provide pre-sale shareholder operational support
  • Assist in the execution of timely and accurate processing of shareholder transactions including distribution payments, redemptions, statements, and tax reporting
  • Assist in the coordination of proxy voting procedures
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication with affiliated wholesaling broker-dealer

Other Functions

  • On an as needed basis, assist with the private equity firm’s broader operations functions

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 2+ years of customer service experience required; phone support experience preferred.
  • Proven ability and strong desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment required.
  • Ability to learn and utilize service provider technology systems required.
  • Effective communication skills required, including ability to interact with external financial advisor clients and investors.
  • Highly organized, with a conscientious approach to work and dependability required.
  • Investment management operations, transfer agent, accounting and/or fund administration work experience is beneficial.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Role is a non-FINRA licensed position.

Compensation

The anticipated rate for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus.

$26.44 - $31.25/hour
