Position Overview
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic AMC 8 Teacher who can inspire and guide middle school students in preparing for the AMC 8 competition. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mathematical background, teaching experience, and a genuine desire to help students achieve their full potential in math competitions.
Responsibilities
Design and implement a comprehensive curriculum for AMC 8 preparation classes.
Conduct engaging and interactive lessons covering relevant topics and problem-solving strategies.
Provide personalized support and guidance to help students grasp challenging concepts.
Administer regular practice tests to assess students' progress accurately.
Foster a positive and motivating learning environment that stimulates students' interest in mathematics.
Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school administrators regarding students' progress.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, education, or a related field.
Previous teaching experience, particularly in preparing students for math competitions.
Thorough understanding of the AMC 8 competition format, content, and scoring.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for mathematics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and the ability to motivate and inspire students.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
