The Rosemount Senior Living is hiring a Full-Time Activities Director to join our team!In this important role, you will manage a small team of activities professionals, plan and conduct fun and exciting activities for our residents.Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a genuine concern for our residents’ well-being, and has a creative personality and positive attitude.
This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working Monday through Friday.
Activities Director responsibilities:
Manage small team of activities professionals
Ensure meaningful activities are scheduled and executed seven days a week
Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities
Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff
Perform other duties as assigned
Activities Director skills and requirements:
1+ year of experience working in an assisted living, independent, or long-term care environment preferred
Desire to work with the older adults required
Artistic and musical skills are a plus
Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital
Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors
Engaging, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and overflowing with creativity to share in planning new activities
