In the USA, Asahi imports, markets and sells the Asahi Super Dry beer brand as well as the spirits brand Twisted Shotz. Very excitingly, EMEAA has recently purchased a fantastic new production facility in Wisconsin USA, Octopi Beverages. This marks a key step forward in accelerating our growth journey and realizing our ambitions for our Global Brands, most notably Asahi Super Dry for North America.

Established in 2014 and expanded several times, Octopi’s modern production facility was built from the ground up to make a wide range of beverages including beer and RTDs. Its state-of-the-art packaging lines cater to fill multiple styles and sizes of bottles and cans for maximum flexibility in packaging.

Main purpose of the job:

We’re seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who will perform the day-to-day accounts payable transactions to ensure accurate and timely payments. This position will have primary responsibility of working with Accounting team and Commercial team. This includes ensuring accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable, Purchase order posting/quarterly, Research/resolution of vendor accounts in Accounting System and new vendor registration work.

More specifically, you will be trusted to:

• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
• Ensure that invoices have the appropriate general ledger codes and approval for payment
• Input POs in the accounting system and review quarterly
• Input invoices in the accounting system
• Timely responses to internal and external vendor inquires/issues.
• Support new vender registration in Accounting system
• Prepare Form 1099‘s
• Assist with other projects as needed

Do you have what it takes?

Academic background:

• Appropriate University/Bachelor degree qualification

Experience:

• 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Understanding of basic principles of accounting and bookkeeping
• High level of accuracy
• Proficiency in data entry
• Excellent communication skills

Job Type/Working environment

• Part-time(up to 30 hours a week)
• Hybrid remote work (3 half days a week at Torrance Office & Remote work)
