Our client is going through some exciting growth and in view of this they are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their small team.
Working from the Huntingdon head office, this role will look after the ledgers for one company in the group and duties will include
Accounts Payable - input, matching to POs, gaining authorisation and handling queries
Statement reconciliations
Setting up monthly payment runs
Sales Ledger - Creating invoices and posting cash to ledger
Updating cashflow
Month end close
Bank reconciliations
Ad hoc duties
The successful candidate will have proven experience in accounts payable and receivable and will have experience working with Xero (essential).
Ideally part-qualified AAT, this role requires a keen eye to detail and the ability to multitask.
Experience working in the manufacturing sector would be ideal but is not essential but you must be comfortable working with Excel.
This is a fully site-based role working with a great team and whilst you will be joining as an Accounts Assistant there is scope for the role to grow to a more senior position within six months.
