Job Description

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to become an integral part of our team! You will compile data, compute charges, and prepare invoices.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep a thorough record of business transactions and enter data into the company’s general ledger system
  • Supporting supervisory and executive staff by performing any assigned accounting and clerical tasks
  • Key in or type up any documents or items that the accounting department is responsible for, including checks and invoices, accounting statements, and other reports and records
  • Match purchase orders to invoices
  • Contact consumers to notify them of delinquent accounts and accept any payments made at the time of contact
  • Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
  • Preparing bills receivable, invoices and bank deposits
  • Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards
  • Perform all other office tasks

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in billing, finance, or other related fields
  • Experience in data entry
  • Knowledge of standard accounting procedures
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Seniority level
