We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to become an integral part of our team! You will compile data, compute charges, and prepare invoices.
Responsibilities:
Keep a thorough record of business transactions and enter data into the company’s general ledger system
Supporting supervisory and executive staff by performing any assigned accounting and clerical tasks
Key in or type up any documents or items that the accounting department is responsible for, including checks and invoices, accounting statements, and other reports and records
Match purchase orders to invoices
Contact consumers to notify them of delinquent accounts and accept any payments made at the time of contact
Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
Preparing bills receivable, invoices and bank deposits
Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards
Perform all other office tasks
Qualifications:
Previous experience in billing, finance, or other related fields
Experience in data entry
Knowledge of standard accounting procedures
Ability to prioritize and multitask
