About The Role
Account Supervisors partner with all members of the account team, leading junior team members and supporting senior leaders. You are the day-to-day point of contact for the client, a brand advocate, agency champion and trusted partner. You have a strong work ethic and sharp business acumen and can proactively lead all elements of the ‘making’ including scope, project management, risk management, project hand off and more. You are a team leader and champion of the work. You are a strategic thinker, integrated marketer that knows the value of PR, Social, & Influence collaboration to drive campaign impact. You have a strong background in earned-first strategy. This Account Supervisor will work in a hyper-growth and scale environment across an exciting, award-winning portfolio brand in the personal care/beauty industry. This is a hybrid role in New York, NY.
What You'll Do
Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients at the manager level
Build strong relationships and foster trust
Partner with subject matter experts in PR, social, influence, creative, and production to generate progressive ideas and present award-winning thinking to clients
Track budgets and scopes, assessing estimates to actuals & managing changes as needed (Partner with Project Management as needed)
Drive multi-channel program and campaign development working across teams
Develop in-depth business reporting and comprehensive results-oriented analyses
Run point on and coordinate team meetings and client presentations
Be the organizational center of projects – manage, problem solve and drive execution even
when the path is ambiguous and multiple stakeholders are involved
Challenge the status-quo seeking alternate approaches to developing solutions and strategies
Involved in the presentation and selling in of creative work
Committed to growing and developing the skills and abilities of junior team members
Researching, writing, and overseeing the development of communications plans, campaign materials including brochures, videos, web copy, social media, and memos
Assisting with media relations efforts and partnership outreach
Crisis communications strategy and planning
Participating in the agency's new business and proposal efforts, as needed
What You’ll Need
4-6 years of PR/earned-first industry experience (agency experience strongly preferred)
Ideally, several different account experiences delivering programs in public relations, marketing, or communications with background in digital and social media, materials development, media relations, and partnership outreach
Strong written and verbal communication abilities and excellent interpersonal skills
Experience writing proposals and SOWs to define the project scope, budget, and timeline
Ability to communicate complex solutions in a clear and concise manner
Drive efficacy and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring
Willingness to take on complex challenges and work in a fast-paced environment
Natural and effective collaborator, positive attitude, and sound work ethic
Calm and focused under pressure

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range$60,000—$140,000 USD
