  • shishu Essential Newborn Kits

    The shishu Essential Newborn Kits are the latest innovation from ayzh within the continuum of RMNCH+A (Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent) health care. shishu is the first prototype of a safe, hygienic, and environmentally friendly newborn kit which is intended to provide health workers, caregivers and mothers with the appropriate education and tools necessary to give their infants proper neonatal care.

  • janma - Clean Birth Kit in a Purse

    This kit, containing the '6 cleans' recommended by the World Health Organization for a safe and sanitary childbirth in developing countries, was our initial product launched in 2010. At a cost of $2,over 400,000 have been sold globally. The janma kit is is sourced and assembled in India by rural women, creating economic opportunity in the communities we serve.

    The annual competition, held at Discovery Park's Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, challenges students to create products that address social needs and introduces the marketing plan that outlines a roadmap to commercialization. AYZH was runner's Up winning $8,000 in cash.
