How can you effectively manage people in Internal Communications?
Mutual knowledge is critical for the success of any organization, large or small. Ensuring that everyone on the Team has the same data to work with will remove any confusion, doubt, and frustration. It also provides acceleration opportunities, breaking down the siloed feeling individuals and groups have when they aren't in the know. If there is hesitation in sharing information, use this as a heuristic and ask yourself why. The answers are areas you need to communicate and improve upon as well.

The NCNA has an annual Labor Day Picnic for the entire neighborhood at Lincoln Park in the North East side. This annual event is supported in part by the dues paid to the neighborhood association. Over 80+ neighbors were in attendance. Families, children, young, old, politicians, and old friends.
My responsibilities were to help organize the event, plan and purchase the food, grill, and clean-up.

The Social Media Workshop helped participants understand the benefits of using YouTube, Twitter, Soundcloud, and Vine to help communicate with donors, volunteers, and other parties interested in themselves or their organization.
The Google Drive Workshop helped participants familiarize themselves with Google’s Cloud-based file sharing solution. An added benefit of using Google Drive lies in the ability to edit Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations in real-time with other users in a friendly, collaborative space. Participants learned how to create forms to gather information from donors, volunteers, and other parties interested in themselves or their organization.
The Freeflow Workshop allowed participants to use the knowledge they have gained from the two previous workshops. Participants pushed their projects forward by working with myself and others to leverage Internet tools. We will also discussed Crowdsourcing and FLOSS solutions that can be used in their organization or as an individual.Other creatorsSee project -
