What are effective incentives for employees to refer candidates for hard-to-fill positions?
I think that the biggest incentive for referrals is a Cash bonus. I think that qualified referrals should be rewarded. You want your employees to look into their friend and family group and see if there is someone who fits a role. Maybe its someone from School who you graduated with or had a class with. I have found that a lot of people are motivated by money, or even time off. You can even offer employees an option of a few free hours of PTO or a cash bonus, dependent on successful completion of a certain amount of time as a full time employee.

One of the most impactful approaches is committing 110% effort consistently, going beyond expectations, and consistently striving for excellence.
