Healthcare Construction Trends in California and Nevada At NABCO, we're witnessing dynamic growth in the healthcare construction landscape, especially in California and Nevada. With significant projects in Sacramento, San Francisco, Fresno, Los Angeles, and Reno, our team is experiencing a boom in healthcare facility development. Healthcare Design Magazine lists these notable trends:  - Financial pressures and the need for advanced, flexible care environments are driving substantial growth in healthcare renovations and new construction.  - Renovations are outpacing new constructions, comprising 56% of completed projects, reflecting the ongoing demand for modernizing existing healthcare infrastructure. Healthcare Facilities Management Magazine (American Hospital Association notes that: - More organizations are building ambulatory facilities — an increase from 7% in their 2023 survey to 12% in 2024 for “currently under construction.”  - Better connected hospital equipment and systems were also identified as priorities in the survey.
