How can you show that you are a strategic thinker in Content Development?
Yes, know your audience inside and out, but go ten steps further and be sure you are including them in the content development and recognizing valuable contributors along the way. Essentially crowdsource what you should produce and then find ways to highlight their input as co-created content.

How can you build Thought Leadership credibility through public speaking as a start-up founder?
Sorry, I disagree here. The number one most important step is to listen to the feedback and build out on that feedback before you share further. They already saw your talk or read your article the first time. Show your community you care about their input and follow up with... I heard you, here is what I think we can do to build upon your input, and this is what I'll do next. "Listeners" are more than an audience. They are why you have the right to say anything at all. If they believe in you and know they can co-create with you, they will become all that more invested in the outcome - assuming you've hit on a topic they care about. Avoid classic self promotion. Constantly challenge yourself to keep building by embedding input along the way.

How can you use writing to drive innovation as a Thought Leader?
I was once told that I write in a style that is exactly how I would speak in a conversation and they could actually hear my voice when reading my words. They felt engaged in a conversation despite via text. I think that is because I'm so deeply entrenched in the community I serve, constantly listening and considering their needs, that when I write anything at all I'm already having a conversation in my head with the community and I'm eager to engage with their comments. "Dialogue" - no matter what form - is critical to ensure you are showing your respect of the community, learning as much as you are sharing, and listening more than you are speaking.
