There are a LOT of factors that I look at when considering a candidate for a supply chain role. But one of the most important things I look at is industry experience. Hiring for a retailer, I need either retail or wholesale experience. Hiring for a manufacturer, I need manufacturing experience. And more specific than that – if I’m hiring for a food manufacturer, I normally can’t consider anyone who doesn’t have food, pharma or CPG manufacturing experience. When I’m hiring for a 3PL distributor, I need 3PL distribution experience. Not 3PL transportation, that’s not the same thing. Trucking? You guessed it, I need trucking experience. And usually more specific than that. If I'm working with an LTL carrier I need LTL experience. Not courier or FTL or flatbed. Same thing goes for the vast majority of our searches. There are some exceptions, but it’s unusual for me to consider someone from another industry. I know this can be frustrating to jobseekers, but it’s my job as a recruiter to find the best match for my client (hiring company) and their job openings. Thoughts?

Assess the change impact, both internally and externally, for our Orion Portfolio. Create the Change Management strategy for the Orion Program effort. Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics. Identify and manage anticipated resistance. Consult and coach project teams. Support communication efforts for the Orion Portfolio. Support training efforts. This role will be responsible for delivering our: Stakeholder Analysis, Communication plan, Training plan and Change Management plan. Integrate change management activities into our project plans for each Orion Project (we have ~28 projects within the Orion Portfolio) that will need change management support to increase the change adoption rate and project success. Coach managers and supervisors on how to best support the changes the Orion Program will bring to their direct reports and help their teams successfully manage adoption of the new processes and workflows, which their teams will use. Support organization design and definition of roles and responsibilities. Coordinate efforts with other specialists in the Orion Portfolio. Evaluate and ensure user readiness.   2. Qualifi Bachelor's degree in Organizational Behavior, Business Management, or a related area of study or equivalent experience. Change Management certification or designation desired: Prosci Certification a plus. Demonstrated experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.  3-5 years of Organizational Change Management experience. Communicates clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, with project team members and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and deliver requested deliverables on time. Excellent written and verbal skills. Demonstrated can-do attitude. Must be a team-player and able to work collaboratively with and through others. Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges. Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization. Excellent Active listening skills. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal. Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Moves quickly to address unexpected problems or opportunities. Forward-looking with a holistic approach. Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams.

🌟 March JOLTS Report Update! 🌟   Just out today, the latest BLS JOLTS report reveals ongoing strength in the U.S. job market.
