    Arts to Grow is a nonprofit organization that provides arts education after-school programming in school districts that do not have the resources necessary to provide such programs to students. During my time as an intern for Arts to Grow, I helped with administrative tasks associated with the annual fundraising campaign as well as communicated with teaching artists and program managers regarding program logistics and contracts.

    During the Urban Plunge immersion program, I explored the issue of food insecurity in New York City through service trips and guest lectures.

  • America's Emerald Isle: Irish Language and Culture on Beaver Island, MI

    -

    This study researched the impact the prolonged use of the Irish language among immigrants on Beaver Island during the late 19th century and early 20th century had on the modern Irish identity that exists on the Island today. The research product was presented at the Annual Conference of the American Anthropological Association in Chicago.

    The goal of Undergraduate Women in Business is to connect female students interested in a career in business to job opportunities as well as to create an inclusive and supportive community on campus among students or different grades and majors. As President of UWIB at Notre Dame, I have overseen tremendous growth of the club, increasing club membership by 50% in one year, making UWIB one of the largest clubs on campus. I have also worked with the club's Board to launch initiatives such a mentorship program to foster interaction between upperclassmen and underclassmen. As Conference Chair, I organized a two-day conference attended by over 120 students and 10 companies and secured a record amount of corporate sponsorships to fund the event.

During my sophomore year, I acted as Treasurer, managing Howard Hall's finances and allocating funding to thirteen commissioners to host events.
