    I founded the Men's Fellowship group as an opportunity to connect with other Jewish men, and create friendships by working together on projects. We provide many services to the community, usually involving hands-on work and providing meals. In 2010 I led the group to create and ratify a Constitution, and we have since doubled our membership. Recent projects include:

    Inclusive Playgrounds Austin Group

    Children

    Launched new non-profit org focused on funding and building playgrounds for children with limited physical abilities. Modeled on Harper's Playground in Portland. Provided legal and IT services pro bono:
    • Applied for and received 501(C)(3) status
    • Applied for and received Texas Franchise Exemption for non-profit
    • Secured domain names, setup Google Apps
    • Setup PipeDrive CRM under their program for non-profit

  • Pro Bono Web development

    Texas Charitable Clinics

    Social Services

    Deliverable to migrate old ASP website over to new WordPress site. Also migrated domain and web hosting to Bluehost, and setup new pop email for the org. http://www.txcharitableclinics.org

  • Trustee Board Member

    Temple Beth Shalom (Austin, TX)

    - 3 years

    Formed in 2000, Temple Beth Shalom was a start-up congregation using rented facilities at Dell Community Center. TBS currently has over 500 families and built a new synagogue in 2013. I served on several committees and projects in addition to serving a 3-year term on the board. I went on to found the Brotherhood.
