Microfluidic generation of gradient hydrogels to modulate hematopoietic stem cell culture environment
Advanced Healthcare Materials
Hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) are critical for their applications in clinical therapies. Unlocking the secrets behind their interactions within our bodies can provide us vital clues for their regulation and control in a clinical setting. This work describes the creation of a controlled gradient environment using microfluidic techniques to provide a versatile and controllable cell culture platform to study these HSC interactions with multiple biological components.
