How can you make graphic animations look natural and smooth?
Back when I was in school, pre-computers, my animation teacher was obsessed with Mikey Mouse in Fantasia, though a box office disappointment, Fantasia’s artistry puts it number one in my book of impressive animation. In the scene where Mickey is animating the mop, his fingers wiggling out the magic spell is the most amazing and beautiful technical moment. Disney put 24 drawing in one second, something too expensive to do now-a-days.

How do you create a color profile for print production?
My background is printed paper products, so CMYK and Pantone colors were my life for 30 plus years. Because of color limitations on printing presses I started mixing Pantone inks into the CMYK process to create more vibrant color pallets. Especially subbing Rhodamine Red for magenta. Each product or series would have a color profile and color range assigned to it. Color is exciting to me and I love figuring out how to achieve difficult color combos.
