Something I’ve used over the years. I’m sure I’m not the only one but it’s a good tip. 1. Set up some random boxes (raid the pantry) 2. Take a pic 3. Use it to build a background. #backgrounddesign #sketchbook #drawingtips #cartoonbackground #sketchbook
This is great. Pretty much how I use blender for storyboards and planning shots. Lego is always good too.
I have students hold signs with names of businesses/buildings and on the floor paper with street names. Then work on directions or whatever activity we are doing. For in person classes of course.
This is a fantastic idea thanks for the tip. 👍🏻
Haha, a very good idea! I sometimes make fotos of matchbox cars or playmobil figures to help my sketching…
I do exactly this. At one point i tried switching to 3ď tools. But because i generally dont have an affinity with cgi, i found it more hassle than it was worth. A bunch of boxes and a camera is much easier.
This is so smart. I'm surprised I never thought of that
Wow mind blown; thank you. 🤯
ah geniale comme idee

2moWow, it’s great to see such a response, and one that’s positive. Thanks to all. Like I said, this is something I’ve been using for years and is nothing new. I was curious if others were using it to build some backgrounds. Would love to see what you all come up with in your own background designs. 😊👍
