Hemp Farming is another large category in the CBD and CBG industries. Hundreds of existing and new companies jumped into farming without an exit strategy for their crop. Now, we see hemp dropped in price 90%, with a turnaround in sight. Like most agricultural products, there was a large demand initially, and hemp was expensive. With time, competition jumped in and pricing started to drop fast.

The problem with hemp farming is not just the farming or the product but the demand. Most farmers are stuck with inventory and can't move it, even at 90% discount.
