How can you design mobile applications for optimal use in different time zones?
One difficult part will be assessing lowest common denominator of risk the app can afford before experiencing a negative user impact. Network is often one of those that can and will vary as a user moves. In this case going from area to area will create different network options, speeds, latencies and more. As all networks begin to offer API on real time network performance so too can developers weave in ways to offset potential risk. Otherwise many will take path of what’s the worst network I can risk experience within and adjust app experience down for all locations maybe via buffering or lower picture quality as mitigation for the variances.
