What do you do if your team members lack leadership skills in brand development?
As with any specialized skill, it takes two things to excel: learning and practice. Set the bar high, because your clients deserve that. Ensure you have experts on your team that can lead the way, by both example and guidance. And never miss an opportunity to help your team stretch and grow as they collaborate. Those that are meant to be experts in this area will rise to the challenge.

Your advertising team is struggling to keep up with the competition. What are you doing to stay ahead?
It's important to never lose sight of the fact that your business exists to serve a need in a way that only you can provide in your own unique way. So while it's important to consider all best practices here, "keeping up with the competition" and "staying ahead" should take a back seat to things like "how to best serve" and "how can we make a positive difference for our customers/clients." The more you focus on serving your industry, the less competition plays into the equation. Make your own mark, and celebrate when others do the same. There's plenty of problem solving to go around.

How do you boost your brand equity?
A key principle in business is that for something to be its most effective, it needs to have a strategy driving it. This certainly translates to your brand identity. Having a solid brand strategy as a foundational element to your business - and crystalizing that strategy into brand standards - sets you up for both easier tactical execution across the board, and easier interpretation of the resulting tactics as they make their way to your audience. Do the brand strategy work up front, and you will have a much easier time gaining that precious brand equity moving forward.
