    First phase of this ongoing project was to architect individual live production facilities with hybrid Base band video and IP. This was accomplished using the Grass Valley GV Nodes. Second Phase, we established connectivity between 3 sites using ST 2022-6. Third Phase, designed 2 facilities in separate locations which are connected via dark fiber. Using a network Spine leaf topology, three routing platforms are connected creating 360sq router at the SMPTE-2022-6 standard.f
    The next phase has two parts. Part one will switch the phase three systems to SMPTE-2110. The second part will switch another regional system with two GV Nodes to ST 2110 via a leaf switch. Then connect that leaf to the spine located at a remote site utilizing our WAN infrastructure. To date we have completed conceptual schematics and validated the design.

    UPDATE: We now have (6) facilities globally connected together via WAN. Any of our (5) control rooms can produce shows from any of our live studio's or venues, Globally. We are routinely producing live studio production in our New York office from our control room in Sunnyvalae, CA. We have also had multiple production in our Dublin, IE office produced from our Mountain View, CA control room. Our primary paths leverage our WAN while our redundancy paths leverage cloud technology.

    Current projects are developing automations between the global technology to speed up the setup and validation for remote productions. The current goal is to automate 50% of the setup required by a broadcast engineer. This will enable our teams to perform setups, rehearsals and shows from the same control room on the same day/week.
