    My name is Eric Coffie let me introduce my new podcast Govcon Giants. The show where I discuss all things federal contracting from those who know it best. From the 1930’s to today the federal government has injected capital and contracts into the market throughout every recession, depression and market swing.

    Unlike any other sector in the world the U.S. federal government has lasted centuries and remains tried and true standing throughout the test of time. If you want to learn how others are growing their business using the power of the federal behemoth and how you can too, then make sure to stay tuned in.

    I want to take those lessons further by interviewing the world’s greatest minds in federal contracting. The idea is to provide insights and perspectives from people who eat, sleep and basically poop government contracting.     In 2008 when everything came crashing down. Banks stopped lending, large brokerage houses started closing and the tsunami could be felt across the world. It was mayhem to say the least, people lost everything they built their whole lives to create. Project managers who were once making $150,000 job less.

    Just a year earlier I changed my business from real estate to the government market. Call it shear luck or incredible timing. But while all of those people were suffering great losses I was experiencing tremendous success. Everyone around me was crashing and burning and my newly found construction company was thriving. We were hiring people, subcontracting out projects and traveling on exotic vacations. Our previous employer/mentor tried getting on board. Doing a Joint Venture with our little company to try and get a piece of the government pie.

    It was a crazy turn of events as the student became the teacher. As their school board contracts dried up. They eventually ended closing their doors and dismantling the once $50M firm.

    Fast forward 10 years later and my ups and downs of working in the government marketplace proved valuable as I go on to launch my YT channel, Scorecontracts. A channel dedicated to teaching the world all things federal contracting with 100’s of videos online and thousands of people taught, it is revolutionizing the world of Govcon.

    I share my ideas and concepts that I’ve learned over the past 12 years working on military bases and government installments around the country. From how to expedite your application to how to sneak on base for a critical meeting.

Evankoff scope of work included the engineering, design and erection of 3 buildings ~ 30,000 sf., 2 mezzanines, standing seam metal roof, 25 curbs and interior crane. Architectural facial panels on to mesh aesthetically in Miami Lakes neighborhood to not give the appearance of a metal building.

    Complete demolition/renovation restoration of 5,728 sf home in exclusive Coral Gables, Coco Plum Subdivision. Alterations include new kitchen, baths, walls, doors, windows, driveway, foyer, family room, bedrooms, pool, boat dock, exterior columns.

  • VA Indiana Health Care System (IHCS) Hospital - Female Privacy Improvements

  • F16 Aircraft Shelter Construction

    -

    Design and construction of a 66,000 sf pre-engineered metal building for aircraft canopies at Homestead Air Force Reserve Base. This is a 16 week project involving the fabrication, staging and erection of more than 20 tons of steel in a highly secured federal installation. Evankoff's team designed this project end-to-end using only a statement of work and project specifications as a point of reference.
