What are the best ways to communicate with high-level decision makers?
Besides removing any fluff from your message and keeping it as concise as possible, I recommend using different channels when communicating with high level decision makers. If you aren't getting a response, try alternating between email and LinkedIn messages. If you have a more personal relationship, use SMS. In addition, if your goal is to just keep the decision maker updated and you don't need them to respond, say so. You can even say "No need to respond". A crisp two bullet update on say a recent milestone achievement can help you keep connected with your DM. If you need a response, make it clear what your ask is and put that right up front and mention why it's needed.

Your team needs to make data-driven decisions. What are the most popular customer analytics tools?
The best customer analytics tool? Excel or Google Sheets. Why do I believe that? Because I can spin up a spreadsheet and analysis in a few minutes. It gets me started. It gets me excited. It helps me see connections. If I see anything interesting, I can do further testing and explore other tools and approaches. But nothing is better than a few datasets and a spreadsheet to start.

Don't hesitate when considering posting an idea or sharing your thoughts. Too often you may think, "No one cares what I have to say" but it's usually the opposite. You have to put yourself out there and the only way to do that is to jump in and start contributing.
