Notably, the 30-contract total exceeded the 10-year average of 27 contracts for the week leading up to Memorial Day. Of the 19 condo contracts, 12 were Sponsor deals that saw an average reduction of 16% after spending an average of 1,484 days on the market. 🥇The #1 signed contract was a townhouse at 53 East 77th Street listed at $26M. This Georgian house spans 34 feet in width and consists of 6 stories totaling 14,500 sq ft. The property, which is commercially zoned, was previously owned by notable entities such as Funk & Wagnalls and Cello. The current sellers, who are antique furniture dealers, acquired the house for $17.35M in 2007. 🥈The #2 signed contract was for Apt.15/16 at 515 Park Avenue listed at $25M. This duplex condo features 6,514 sq ft of space, including 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and 2 powder rooms. The sale also included a wine cellar and a studio apartment. "In its filing, PulteGroup says its divisions listed thousands of homes on multiple listing services and paid commissions to brokers representing buyers on resulting sales, qualifying the company as a member of the settlement class.
