What are the best ways to communicate your career goals to your manager in Agile Methodologies?
When thinking about your career goals always ensure to tell a story. Talk about your long term goals, the areas you want to grow and your strengths. Make sure people understand where you are going so that they can help you find different experiences along the way that will only enrich your career getting you closer to that long term goal. This will also avoid you pigeon holing yourself into a specific title, rather look for the learnings along the way. Create a brand for yourself, ensure to talk about it and then walk through open doors!

How can you build trust with stakeholders to increase your persuasive power in program governance?
One of my biggest learnings in handling large programs is that you never surprise your stakeholders. Take the time to align everyone, get their feedback, any suggestions they might have prior to a meeting. That way in the actual meeting you would be able to present something you already have buy in for furthering your own reputation and credibility. This fosters more trust which is the key to building human relationships that will be very helpful in difficult situations.

What are the most effective strategy frameworks for analyzing competition?
The Competitive analysis matrix is another one to consider. This matrix helps businesses to compare themselves to their competitors on a number of different key factors, such as their market share, product offerings, pricing, and customer satisfaction. This information can then be used to identify areas where businesses can improve their competitive position.

A major airline engaged ThoughtWorks to provide technological expertise in order to refresh their decade old web application. As the dole BA on this project I was responsible for the following:
- Doing a mini inception that involved identifying all the stakeholders and also gathering the requirements for a new piece of functionality.
- Fleshing out all the business and technological requirements and developing user stories for them.

- Conducting regular showcases with the stakeholders and running training sessions for all the users once the application was complete.
- Tracking the progress of an iteration and removing and reporting blockers to have a smooth running iteration. -
Viaje Aqui

ViajeAqui is one of the most complete website for travelers in Brazil and is part of the digital arm of Grupo Abril, one of the biggest media groups in latin America. The project was to develop a new database integrating printed and web media databases, and concurrently develop customized modules for the new CMS platform (back-end and front-end applications). The main challenge of this project was that concurrent development of CMS platform and customized modules for ViajeAqui users.
