“I’ve had the privilege to work with Alicia Garner at Cancer Treatment Centers of America for more than three years. In my current role as an Education Coordinator/Learning Management System Specialist, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside Alicia on multiple learning and development initiatives. I taught at a local alternative high school program students from the ages of 14 up through adulthood. I offered additional support and resources to those who wanted to learn more. I also spearheaded various workshops throughout the area on the same topics. Financial literacy is probably one of my favorite efforts because I am so passionate about people reaching their dreams and being fiscally responsible. There is a huge need for education around money management, and it was great to reach young people who might not have been taught these invaluable lessons before. Hopefully, this will help them be more informed about their financial future!

When an event is activated a message group that the end user is part of will issue them a predesignated message that they can either respond to or just receive notification of an event. The system includes live reporting so that users responses can be monitored and tracked. I have lead a team in the creation of all processes to install this system, train users on this system, enter data into the system, and the reporting of this system. I hold regular progress meetings with key stakeholders of the project to ensure that we are meeting timelines and expectations. The system will touch 6,000 plus employees and may continue to grow.
