Today marks four years with Yankee Publishing as a VP and the publisher of our New Hampshire Group of magazines and events. Our president and CEO Jamie Trowbridge wrote a kind note and gave it to me on Friday when I was out at Yankee’s Dublin offices for senior management team meetings. Taking the helm of the New Hampshire publications about five minutes before the start of a global pandemic, not to mention the long-term challenges the media industry has faced since the dawn of the internet, guaranteed a challenging time ahead. And it was, but also exciting and fulfilling and replete with incredible colleagues and the kind of inspiring storytelling that made me want to build a life in media to begin with. Jamie’s thoughtful note epitomizes the broader team spirit and family feeling YPI epitomizes. It’s good to be here and exciting to be planning our next great initiatives!

Last night, I joined thousands of fellow #NewHampshire professionals for the #DeltaDentalCorproate5k with our incredible team from Yankee Publishing I was fortunate enough to share the experience with Miriam and crossing the finish line with my daughter was an incredible experience. Our team fundraised for the MARY AND JOHN ELLIOT CHARITABLE FOUNDATION. Along the way, there were many familiar faces, water stations and even sprinklers-which the kids LOVED! #ManchesterNH is quite the community and the support for the runners and the efforts of this race are unmatched.

For 28 years Peter Rukavina of Reinvented (on the right) has been developing and maintaining YPI's websites, and now he's retiring. Our working relationship goes back to the very first days of the commercial Internet. At YPI we talk a lot about the value of our employee-owners, but we depend just as much on faithful contractors and vendors to help us succeed. Here's to Peter and all the other vendors without whom we would not be where we are today.
