This unforgettable weekend in New York City brought together dozens of influencers to celebrate their shared passion for books. The festivities included a bookstore tour, author signing, cover reveal, movie screening, dance party, and—of course—an abundance of books! HarperCollins Publishers announced a four-book publishing deal with Emmy Award-winning actress and producer Jennifer Aniston and animation studio Invisible Universe. The publishing program will star Clydeo, an animated dog inspired by Aniston’s real-life rescue dog, Clyde. The first book, Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life (on sale October 1, 2024), is Clydeo’s heartwarming picture book origin story in which he discovers that cooking is what makes him shine. During the event, Brian also introduced Viola Davis, Academy Award-winning actress, producer, New York Times bestselling author of Finding Me, and founder of JVL Media, who was honored with a Champion of Literacy Award. The evening, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Literacy Partners, raised over $1 million to support innovative literacy education, advocacy, and programming in New York City.
