The WVU Health System, which operates under the brand name WVU Medicine, is comprised of 22 member, managed, and affiliated hospitals in West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. The Pauley family’s recent trip to the local swimming pool turned into an all-hands-on-deck race to save their son’s life. Jackson, 11, has been living with epilepsy for about 5 years and had an ill-timed seizure while swimming in the pool. Thanks to the excellent care Jackson received at the pool, during transport, and at WVU Medicine’s J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital and Children's Hospital, he is now home and back to his old self. https://lnkd.in/eBJcQPud
