Did you know that some of the world’s most urgent crises aren’t receiving the resources they need? It doesn’t have to be that way. World Relief and our partners in the Integral Alliance, a collaboration of 21 Christian aid agencies based in 14 countries, released a new report on these neglected crises and the factors driving them. In it, we call for a collective and effective response. Click the link to read an excerpt from the report co-authored by Myal Greene, World Relief President & CEO, and Isabelle Duval, Development Program Director at SEL France, and access the full report. 🔗 https://bit.ly/4bNbdMc

We love a sing-along! In Burundi, we’ve opened 6 early childhood development centers for refugee children under 5. These centers will serve 300 children living in refugee camps. Refugee children are at heightened risk of trauma and are more likely to experience gaps in education. Through our early childhood development centers, we’re creating safe places for young children to learn, grow and thrive — even in the midst of displacement. As we continue to expand early childhood programming in Burundi, we aim to reach 3,000 children in refugee camps and from communities that host refugees. #burundi #childhooddevelopment #displacementcrisis

We are a world connected — that’s why we’re boldly responding to the displacement crisis and its impacts on communities around the world, likely including your own. On the blog, learn how our “here and there” approach meets urgent needs in Ukraine, DR Congo, Sudan, at our southern border and in communities throughout the U.S. “After decades of serving displaced communities “here and there,” our passion for and dedication to this work is driven not only by recognizing those experiencing displacement as precious image bearers of God, but as our neighbors, friends and coworkers. People whose fates and stories are inextricably linked with ours…” Read more on the blog: https://bit.ly/3zwVofo #displacementcrisis

Our hearts go out to the families affected by the missile attacks on Ukraine that killed dozens of people and damaged a children’s hospital in Kyiv on Monday. Please pray for those who have lost loved ones and for Ukrainians in the U.S. whose hearts are torn by the suffering in their country. For decades, World Relief has been welcoming Ukrainians seeking safety in the U.S., and we have been assisting those impacted by the recent war in Ukraine since its earliest days. In the wake of this tragedy, we bow our heads in prayer with and for them. #ukraine #prayforukraine
