It's that time again: we are now accepting nominations for our 2024 WIRe MRX Diversity Champion award! Produced in partnership with Insights Association and FUEL + The Focus Room, this award celebrates individuals within the #Insights and #MarketResearch communities who are champions of change; who practice what they preach; and who stand up for a more just and equitable industry for us all. Previous recipients of this prestigious award have shown exceptional dedication in nurturing the professional development of their diverse colleagues; lead internal campaigns for progressive transformation at their company or organization; and conduct vital research to enhance our understanding of marginalized communities. There's no singular definition of what it takes to be a diversity champion; all those who share a commitment to positive action are eligible for nomination. Head over to https://lnkd.in/eMNb9H2 to learn more and nominate today; nominations will be accepted through July 23rd and winners will be celebrated at CRC this September! #MRX #WomeninResearch

Championing women + diverse communities in the market research industry
About us
Women in Research (WIRe) was founded in 2007 as an informal networking group, designed to introduce women to female colleagues in the Los Angeles research community. Today, we’re a global non-profit with events that are hosted quarterly in cities around the globe. WIRe events facilitate networking, leadership, entrepreneurship and other career development goals. Our goal is to develop and accelerate what we want more of – more women as CEO’s or in senior management positions, more women starting their own research firms, more women choosing research as a career path, more knowledge around how to get to that next level of your career: be it a raise, promotion or entrepreneurial venture. Register for our events and online programming at www.womeninresearch.org and visit our LinkedIn group at https://www.linkedin.com/groups/1803413

WIRe’s 50/50 initiative and speakers database aims to support women from across the various roles and industries that make up the broader research landscape by matching them with the #marketresearch industry’s best events – and work closely with conference organizers to promote a 50/50 gender split on stage and beyond. You can join us in the fight for gender parity, behind and beyond the podium, by adding yourself to our database; learn more and sign up today at https://bit.ly/4cDeFu4 #MRX #WomeninResearch

More women than ever have entered the American workforce. Heady demand for employees combined with more opportunities for remote work and a surge in women entrepreneurs are sending a flood of women into the labor market. Women now hold a record 79 million jobs, and the share of women in their prime working years who are employed or seeking work now stands at 77.9%, up from 75.8% five years ago. https://on.wsj.com/3S7clTY #WomeninResearch #MRX #MarketResearch
