  • Juneteenth is a federal holiday honoring the liberation of African American slaves in the United States of America under the Emancipation Proclamation on June 19, 1865. We must remember and honor the history that has gifted millions of intelligent black minds with the privilege and opportunity to share their outstanding stories of triumph and achievement. WCLLC is a minority-based small business that recognizes the strength of diversity and the importance of Health Equity on this holiday as we commend the roads taken to freedom and equality for African Americans.

On Saturday morning, June 1st, 2024, the Baltimore Chapter of NAHSE collaborated with NAMIWalks Maryland to spread awareness for global mental health. Hundreds of people within the community gathered to break the stigmas surrounding common perceptions of mental health. The event raised funds for individuals to gain access to NAMI's top mental health programs and served to remind all those battling mental health issues that they are not alone in their struggle. As we proceed through the month of June: Men's Mental Health Month, as well as the months that follow, we should continue to spread awareness and raise support for the mental health of all genders, cultural identities, ages, and backgrounds. Thank you, NAMI for organizing such an informative and engaging experience!
