Disability Pride Month commemorates the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act in July 1990. According to the CDC, up to 1 in 4 adults in the US have some type of disability. This July, Willamette Dental is excited to honor Disability Pride Month to recognize and celebrate the achievements and diversity of individuals with disabilities!

Members of our Spokane Valley and Northpointe teams recently spent the afternoon doing goat yoga at the beautiful Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary / Inland Northwest Animal Sanctuary, a non-profit organization. Their mission is to rescue homeless animals or animals in need and offer a place of refuge to peacefully live out their lives. All proceeds went towards the care and adoption fees of these wonderful animals. There are many animals looking for their forever homes. All animals released from Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary are to be altered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, and provided with instructions regarding medical & nutritional needs. What a great way to bond as a team and give back to animals in your community!
