Head of Creative at HP Indigo | Variable Data, Creative Tools & Workflow Expert | Design thinking | Problem Solver | AI and ML Evangelist | Public Speaker
I have never done anything like this before. I "stole" an email Sharon Chesler wrote to show the AMAZING challange we took upon ourselves in drupa – no. 1 for printing technologies, to print unique covers for WhatTheyThink's "Drupa Daily" magazine. It's also a good time to say that apart from stealing Sharon's email, she is also the one who orchastrated this entire production line, and she did it in the most soothing and fun manner. Thank you so much, Sharon and all, for this incredible project! It really shows what HP’s Digital Print solutions can bring to a customer site – creativity, uniqueness, speed, quality, and amazing people to support. It was a big win for all of us ❤ So, this is what Sharon wrote: "2 days before drupa, exactly 1 month ago, on May 26th , we received the file of the first cover of the drupa daily magazine. That was the beginning of a beautiful project, that lasted 11 days – with a small team of extremely professional and dedicated people, who: MADE IT HAPPEN!! DAILY!! ON TIME!! DURING HECTIC TIME and BUSY SHOWFLOOR!! This team invested many hours before and during drupa to make sure HP’s commitment was successfully fulfilled. This was not an easy task, but this team met the promise and delivered the output ON TIME, with THE BEST, KNOWN QUALITY, always with smiles and GOOD SPIRIT – the HP Indigo way!! ~63,250 Total covers during 11 days +32,000 B2 sheets during the show 9,500 covers on a peak day 4,750 B2 sheets 11 back page HP’s Ad . 3 different Ads 6 different substrates demonstrating the versatility of the HP Indigo presses 15:00-19:00 daily time for prepress and production #HPMosaic every magazine is unique – with a Mosaic-based background of the magazine header HP Indigo 120K and 18K Digital Presses Thank you to my partners who made this project a success – we can be proud of it!
